~ graves are the footprints of angels ~
This blog is intended to provide helpful information and resources to aid in the different process(es) of grieving the death of a loved one. Losing a close friend or family member can be shocking and, obviously, life-altering. This blog can help provide helpful information and comfort. It can also provide support knowing there is help out there and that others are going through a similar experience. I wanted to make this blog because I lost my dad October 30, 2008. It has been a tough and strange year and a half since then. I have learned a lot about grieving. Your mind and body goes through significant changes, some healthy and others not. If you have lost a loved one then I suggest you read about grieving and what may be expected. Learning more about it helped me feel more comfortable LETTING myself grieve properly. Let yourself cry for hours, let yourself reminisce, and let yourself feel sad. These things are okay. Most importantly, I have learned about ways to heal.
Learning more about the wound that is left when a loved one dies, can help you recognize how to properly take care of the wound and let it heal in a healthy way. Finding ways to help with your healing process can save you in many ways.
